Mana Resources in Nampa, Idaho is seeking caring individuals to join our Direct Support team as Caregivers. No caregiving experience required; we provide training and support as you learn to help participants build independence and enjoy daily life.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured transportation.
• Ability to successfully complete background checks.
• CPR/First Aid and Medications assistance certifications (guidance provided).
• Availability to work weekends or holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build independence and learn new skills.
• Help participants learn daily living skills including cooking, cleaning, budgeting and personal care.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and a positive, encouraging environment.
• Assist with medications and daily routines as needed.
• Document daily activities and work with a supportive team to ensure consistent care.

What Does a Direct Support Professional Do?

As a DSP, you'll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they build independence, learn new skills, and enjoy everyday life.

Your days might include:

• Helping participants learn everyday skills like cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal care.
• Getting out into the community for shopping, activities, appointments, and fun outings.
• Encouraging participants to work toward their personal goals and celebrate their accomplishments.
• Providing companionship, emotional support, and a positive, encouraging environment.
• Assisting with medications and daily routines.
• Maintaining a safe, comfortable, and welcoming home.
• Working alongside a supportive team to provide individualized care and complete daily documentation.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and reliable, registered, and insured transportation.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks.
• CPR/First Aid and Assistance with Medications certifications (guidance on obtaining certifications provided).
• Availability to work assigned shifts, including weekends or holidays as scheduled.
