Job summary

LADACIN Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional – Driver to join our Adult Day Program in Ocean County. This full-time, 40-hour position provides direct care and transportation for adults with developmental and physical disabilities using an agency vehicle.

Training is provided, and you will support daily living activities, promote independence, and help create a safe, engaging environment while documenting appropriately and collaborating with a caring team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 21 years old to drive agency vehicles.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to adults with developmental and multiple physical disabilities.
• Safely transport program participants using an agency vehicle while following all traffic laws and agency transportation policies.
• Assist individuals with entering and exiting the vehicle safely.
• Support participants with activities of daily living based on their individual needs.
• Encourage independence, community participation, and person-centered care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all individuals served.

Position Summary

LADACIN Network is seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional – Driver to join our Adult Day Program in Ocean County. This full-time, 40-hour position provides direct care and support to adults with developmental and multiple physical disabilities while safely transporting program participants using an agency vehicle. The Direct Support Professional – Driver assists individuals with daily activities, promotes independence and community inclusion, and helps create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. Training is provided for motivated candidates.
