Job summary

The New York Foundling is seeking dedicated staff in New York City to support adults with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include ensuring health and safety, advocating within the community, assisting with daily living skills, and implementing individualized care plans. Ideal candidates will have experience with developmentally disabled adults, AMAP and CPR certifications preferred, and possess a valid driver's license. Qualifications

• AMAP, SCIP, CPR, and First Aid Certifications preferred.
• Experience working with adults that have developmental disabilities.
• Demonstrated strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate supervision, health and safety of individuals.
• Advocate for individuals in the community.
• Administer individual medication as prescribed.
• Assist in daily living skills and maintain the facility.
• Complete daily progress notes and other individual logs.
• Transport and escort individuals on activities.
