Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AMAP, SCIP, CPR, and First Aid Certifications preferred.
• Valid NY/NJ/CT/PA Driver’s License with 6 points or less required.
• Experience working with adults that have developmental disabilities.
• Demonstrated strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate supervision and health and safety of individuals.
• Advocate for individuals in the community during appointments and activities.
• Implement individual’s plan of care and administer medication as prescribed.
• Assist in daily living skills such as personal hygiene and food preparation.
• Maintain facility in compliance with OPWDD and COA standards.
