Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with developmental disabilities in the Culver City/L.A. area. This full-time role features a 40-hour workweek with PM shifts and an hourly rate of $18.50–$19.50.

The position emphasizes health, safety, and well-being as you advocate for clients in home and community settings. Requirements include DSP certificates (preferred or can be obtained within 2 years), First Aid/CPR and CPI (preferred or obtained

Qualifications

• Direct Support Professional Certificates 1 & Year 2 (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first 2 years of hire)
• First Aid / CPR and CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of hire)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a California Driver’s License
• Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.

Responsibilities

• Outline and prepare daily routines for clients as written in the Individual Program Plan
• Assist clients with bathroom needs
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary)

Here's What You'll Do:

TheDirect Support Professionalsupports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being. Our Direct Support Professionals proudly serve as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients.

Essential Functions:

Education and Experience:

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50lbs.
