Redwood Family Care Network in Inglewood, CA seeks a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting health, safety and well‑being in home and community settings.

This full‑time role offers a PM shift with an hourly rate of $18.00–$19.50 and a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD and more. Requirements include being 21+, CA driver’s license, and successful pre‑employment checks.

Qualifications

• Direct Support Professional Certificate Year 1 & Year 2 (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first 2 years of hire).
• First Aid / CPR and CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a California Driver's License.
• Background check and pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients as written in Individual Program Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs and clothing changes if needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).

Here's What You'LL Do:

TheDirect Support Professionalsupports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being. Our Direct Support Professionals proudly serve as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients.

Essential Functions:

• Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' (visual and active) as written in Individual Program Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).

Education and Experience:

• Direct Support Professional Certificate Year 1 & Year 2 (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first 2 years of hire)
• First Aid / CPR and CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a California Driver's License
• Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.
