Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network in Culver City, CA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting health, safety, and well-being. The role offers part-time on-site work and an hourly rate of $18.50–$19.50.

Responsibilities include planning daily routines, assisting with personal care and meals, and transporting clients as needed. DSP certificates and First Aid/ CPR with CPI are preferred or obtainable within two years.

Qualifications

• Direct Support Professional Certificate Year 1 & Year 2 (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first 2 years of hire)
• First Aid / CPR and CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a California Driver’s License
• Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.

• Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' (visual and active) as written in Individual Program Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).

TheDirect Support Professionalsupports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being. Our Direct Support Professionals proudly serve as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients.
