Job summary

In Good Company Care and Supports is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in homes and community settings across New Jersey.

We offer both full-time and part-time roles with training provided. You will help with personal care, daily activities, and community participation—while following individualized plans and documenting progress for NJ DDD compliance.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills and good judgment.
Patient, compassionate, and dependable.
Comfortable with personal care tasks.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Ability to pass required background checks and complete training.

Responsibilities

Provide direct, hands-on support to individuals in homes and communities.
Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meals, and household tasks.
Support individuals in community activities, appointments, and outings.
Follow care plans and behavior support plans as directed.
Administer medication as trained and authorized (where applicable).
Document services accurately according to NJ DDD requirements.
Communicate with families and care team regarding needs and progress.
Maintain a safe, respectful, person-centered environment at all times.
