Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with clients living with intellectual and developmental disabilities or mental health challenges in home and community settings. You will assist with daily living tasks, personal care, and participate in plans of care, with daily documentation required.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18.00, paid training, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 1 year of direct care experience, personal care and/or CNA experience preferred.
• Must complete and maintain training: CPR/First Aid, Crisis Intervention Techniques, Medication Administration, OSHA/BBP, Seizure Management.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the home and community setting.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as housekeeping, meals, and personal care.
• Support employment activities and transportation to appointments.
• Daily documentation and reporting in the health record system.

Skills

Good driving record
