Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with IDD in daily living tasks within home and community settings in Wilmington, NC. Monday–Friday shifts with flexibility are available; the role supports personal care, meal prep, housekeeping, and transportation.

You will document care in our electronic health system, with on-the-job training provided and opportunities for growth in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with on-the-job training provided.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and basic nutrition knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the home and community settings.
• Assist with housekeeping, meal prep, personal care, and errands.
• Transport client to appointments and schedule planning.
• Daily documentation in the electronic health system.
