United Counseling Service of Bennington County is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Community Supports in Manchester, VT. The role focuses on helping individuals with intellectual disabilities build independence, participate in the community, and succeed in employment.

Responsibilities include transportation and on-site job coaching within a community-based setting. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Direct Service experience preferred.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.

Mansioni

• Provide direct support to individuals in community and employment settings; assist with transportation and community participation.
• Record keeping: complete timesheets, progress notes, and summaries accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with team and family; advocate for individuals and participate in support planning.
