United Counseling Service of Bennington County seeks a Direct Support Professional - Community to support children with mental health needs, helping them develop independence and community inclusion. You’ll supervise activities, encourage social skills, and provide safe transportation for participants.

The role requires a high school diploma and experience working with youth; valid driver’s license is required. UCS offers generous benefits, career development, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children and youth preferred.
• Relevant experience in human services field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide recreational activities and services to children in a respectful, friendly, and professional manner that supports client choice.
• Maintain timely and thorough record keeping and administrative/clinical documentation for services to clients and program requirements.
• Serve as advocate and liaison to professionals and families, participating in the child’s treatment team.
• Provide consultation/updates to case managers and parents as needed about child’s needs/behavior.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
