Job summary

Sangomas Residential Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with developmental disabilities living in Sangomas Residential Services LLC programs in Cuyahoga County, OH. The DSP ensures residents live their BEST LIFE by supporting daily living skills and implementing ISP/BP plans.

Position offers full-time or part-time hours with hourly wages from $11.00 to $15.00. Required trainings include CPR/First Aid, MTTP, and DODD trainings within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma.
• CPR/First Aid and MTTP required within 90 days of employment.
• Training in DODD, Behavioral Principles and Strategies (BPS) and related trainings.
• Daily programming and transportation responsibilities included.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as assigned.
• Assists with daily living activities and grooming.
• Supports individuals in social, recreational and community activities.
• Maintains accurate documentation and adheres to ISP/BP plans.
• Promotes dignity, respect and resident rights.
