Job summary

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to provide one-on-one care for seniors in the Baltimore-area communities such as Sykesville, Westminster, Frederick and nearby towns. Candidates may have CNA I/II certification or equivalent personal caregiving experience, with starting pay at $18/hour and overtime up to $25/hour.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• 6+ months professional caregiving experience or family caregiving experience
• Valid driver’s license and insured personal vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Current CPR certification
• Current negative TB test results

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting/incontinence care, meal prep, medication reminders, laundry, and light housekeeping)
• Provide companionship and meaningful, respectful conversation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Demonstrate kindness, professionalism, and reliability on every shift
• Communicate clearly with clients, families, and agency staff
