Job summary

Visiting Angels Eldersberg Maryland is actively hiring in-home caregivers to deliver one-on-one support for seniors in clients’ homes. Starting pay is $18/hour with overtime opportunities up to $25/hour and flexible scheduling.

New team members can join with CNA I/II certification or equivalent caregiving experience; part-time options are available, and transportation support is provided in some areas.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• 6+ months professional caregiving experience or active CNA I/II certification.
• Valid driver’s license and insured personal vehicle (in most areas).
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current negative TB test results.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting/incontinence care, meal prep, medication reminders, laundry, and light housekeeping).
• Provide companionship and meaningful, respectful conversation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Demonstrate kindness, professionalism, and reliability on every shift.
• Communicate clearly with clients, families, and agency staff.
