She and her family are looking for a Mentor to assist her with working on her goals, both at home and in her community.Goals include:Being involved in community life – participating in activities of interestIncreasing independent living skills – shopping, money management, taking care of personal itemsImproving / maintaining communication skills – engaging with others, using complete sentencesThe ideal candidate is caring, reliable, and engaging. Related experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.Reliable transportation is required. Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check with be conducted prior to hiring.
