Advocates, Inc. seeks a Mentor (DSP/1:1 support staff) to assist a friendly, mobility-limited client with daily personal care and independent living skills in Fulton, NY. The role demands reliability, compassion, and patience, with logging of daily times and service documentation.

Responsibilities include direct 1:1 support, helping with daily activities, and ensuring safety. Training and background checks will be completed; Mileage reimbursement and benefits are provided.

She is currently looking for someone to assist with daily personal care activities and increase her independent living skills.The ideal candidate is friendly, caring, reliable, engaging, and enjoys helping others. Related experience working with individuals with disabilities (hoyer lifts) is preferred but not required.Reliable transportation is required. Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check with be conducted prior to hiring. Internet access and a valid email address are required.Hours and days of work availableThursdays - Mondays (10pm - 12:30am)Pay rate: $23/hour when providing direct support.
