Job summary

One Vision in Nora Springs, IA is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for front end night shifts. This full-time role features a 12-hour shift model enabling 3 days on, followed by days off, with starting pay at $17.00 per hour and opportunities for overtime.

You will help individuals live independently and participate in daily activities with meaningful, person-centered support. No prior experience required; paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• No prior DSP experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs.
• Comfortable using computers and electronic documentation systems.
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Live independently in the individuals' home and support daily routines.
• Shop, cook, and manage daily activities for clients.
• Assist with appointments and community activities.
• Build confidence and life skills through meaningful activities.
• Support medication administration and health-related needs.
• Complete electronic documentation and service notes.
• Respond to behavioral or emergency situations using provided training.
