Job summary

One Vision in Mason City, IA, seeks Full-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for a 12-hour shift model, Thursday–Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Build a career with purpose and balance as you support individuals in local homes and help with daily living, transportation, and documentation.

Qualifications

No experience required; training provided and paid while learning.
Must be at least 18 years old.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility as needed.
Comfortable with basic technology for documentation.
Must pass background checks and health screenings.
Completion of required training and certifications (paid by us).

Responsibilities

Assisting with daily living tasks like cooking, hygiene, laundry, and medications.
Encouraging independence, confidence, and personal growth.
Supporting recreational activities and community involvement.
Driving individuals to outings, appointments, and events.
Keeping accurate documentation through electronic systems.
Helping manage personal finances and grocery shopping.
