Job summary

One Vision is hiring Full-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for the Back-End Day Schedule in Fort Dodge, IA. The role involves hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with 12-hour shifts 6am-6pm on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided and paid during learning.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility.
• Comfortable with basic technology for documentation.
• Must pass background checks and health screenings.
• Completion of required training and certifications (paid by us).

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living tasks like cooking, hygiene, laundry, and medications.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and personal growth.
• Support recreational activities and community involvement.
• Drive individuals to outings, appointments, and events.
• Keep accurate documentation through electronic systems.
• Help manage personal finances and grocery shopping.
