Job summary

One Vision is hiring Full-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for Days Overlay in Fort Dodge, IA. Schedule: Wednesday 6am-6pm; Thursday–Saturday 8:30am-4:30pm. You will support individuals with daily living tasks, accompany to appointments, and assist with finances and groceries.

No experience required; on-the-job training provided. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid driver’s license and insurance. Must lift up to 50 pounds and pass background checks.

• Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living skills (housekeeping, laundry, cooking, hygiene, medications).
• Learn individual differences in ability, personality, interests, learning, motivation, and preferences.
• Encourage community engagement by transporting individuals to appointments and activities; assist with finances and groceries.
• Adhere to documentation guidelines including service records and healthcare notes.
