Job summary

Hope Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Cedargrove/Rosewood in Roseville – Warren MI. This full-time role (32 hours) on 2nd shift includes weekends and holidays, focusing on helping individuals build independence and community integration.

You’ll assist with daily living activities, monitor safety, support health needs, and document progress while collaborating with care teams and community partners to promote meaningful engagement for those served.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid State of Michigan driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid within training period.
• Schedule includes 2nd shift, weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safety 24/7; conduct checks as needed.
• Support crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
• Build trust-based relationships through compassionate communication.
• Assist individuals in social and community activities and independent living.
• Attend medical appointments and relay information between providers and care team.
• Document care plans accurately and timely.
