Job summary

Hope Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Cedar Grove – Rosewood, on-site in Warren, MI. The role covers 2nd and 3rd shift, full-time (32 hours) with weekends and holidays required.

DSPs support individuals in daily living, mobility, health management, and community participation to help build independence. Ideal candidates demonstrate empathy, integrity, teamwork, and reliability, with a high school diploma or GED and a valid Michigan driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Michigan driver's license required.
• Commitment to 2nd and 3rd shifts, full time (32 hours) Roseville & Warren MI.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety 24/7 and perform checks as needed.
• Support crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
• Build trust and communicate with individuals served and team.
• Assist with social, community, and daily living activities.
• Help individuals participate in transportation, events, and appointments.
• Record care plans and relay information to medical providers.
