Job summary

Skill Creations, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities across North Carolina. DSPs assist with daily living, personal care, and medication administration, and help clients participate in community activities and appointments.

Roles include full-time 30+ hours and back-up/PRN shifts on all three shifts. Competitive benefits accompany full-time employment, with pay starting at $17.60 per hour and $17.00 for backup/PRN

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Criminal Record Check.
• Prompt and regular attendance for assigned work schedule.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR/First Aid and Behavior Management coursework required.
• Basic computer skills for e-mail and data recording.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and care for individuals with medical and behavioral needs.
• Assist with personal care, medication administration, and independent living skills.
• Transport/accompany individuals to activities and appointments.

Education
