Job summary

Heritage Homes, Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our Grand Haven location. This part-time, 2nd shift role (2PM-10PM) requires ability to work every other weekend and offers on-call and variable shifts.

You will help individuals with daily living activities, monitor health, and promote community inclusion while building trusting relationships in a supportive residential environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene and medication administration (with training).
• Monitor health and ensure safety.
• Support involvement in community and in-home activities.
• Develop rapport with residents and maintain a safe, supportive relationship.
• Assist residents in meeting health, safety, and behavioral goals per individual plans.
