Job summary

Heritage Homes, Inc. in Holland, Michigan, is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for Holland Southside locations. Part-time, various shifts; must be able to work every other weekend.

On-site role supporting adults with disabilities in group homes; provide daily living assistance, personal care, and community inclusion. You will receive full training including CPR/First Aid and CMH certifications, with paid training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and TB test.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and complete routine paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene and medication administration (with training).
• Monitor health and safety of residents.
• Support involvement in community and in-home activities.
• Develop rapport with residents and provide a safe, supportive relationship.
• Assist residents in meeting health, safety, and behavior goals in their plans.
• Complete routine paperwork and documentation.
