Verland is seeking a Direct Support Professional (FT/2nd/3rd) in Monaca, PA to provide exceptional care in a home-like setting. This full-time DSP role involves 40 hours weekly with shifts from 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am, performing daily living support, activities, and transportation in Verland vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable means of transportation

Responsibilities

• Enrich and support the lives of residents while maintaining a safe environment
• Introduce and encourage skill development through active treatment activities
• Implement individualized programs; record observations and daily progress notes
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities
• Assist with meals and perform cleaning and laundry duties in the house
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles
• Bathe, dress, and assist clients with personal hygiene
• Housekeeping duties as needed
• Medication administration
• Other duties as assigned
