The CARE Center, Inc. in Washington, PA is seeking part-time staff to support a crisis stabilization/diversion unit. You will maintain safety, assist with crisis plans, and help with transportation and daily activities for individuals.

You will also participate in meals, recreational activities, and documentation while adhering to policies, laws, and confidentiality requirements. This role offers benefits and opportunities for progression.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to receive, understand, and communicate information effectively.
• Ability to transport oneself in an insured vehicle as needed.
• Must obtain criminal history clearance and child abuse/fingerprint clearances.
• Not excluded from participation in Medicare/Medicaid or federal health care programs.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains safety and security of individuals at the crisis stabilization/diversion unit.
• Provides hands-on instruction to implement crisis plans and assist with crisis resolution.
• Assists with transportation to medical appointments when necessary.
• Reports individual needs affecting crisis plans to supervisor.
• Conducts recreational and social activities with individuals.
• Prepares meals for the stabilization/diversion unit.
• Participates in staff training and maintains unit cleanliness.
• Documents all assistance and support per the crisis plan of care.
• Monitors daily living activities and performs other duties as required.
