Job summary

The CARE Center, Inc. is seeking a qualified professional to implement and monitor client service plans, conduct psychosocial assessments, and provide supportive counseling and life skills training.

The role includes advocating for entitlement resources and maintaining accurate client records in compliance with laws and agency policies. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, and must obtain required clearances.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to obtain vital information during interviews to make proper recommendations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of financial entitlement programs and social services.
• Must pass required clearances (Criminal History, Child Abuse, FBI).

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and reassessments to develop and update individualized service plans.
• Provide supportive counseling and life skills training to individuals and groups.
• Advocate to identify entitlement resources and available social/vocational services.
• Maintain client records and prepare reports and documentation accurately and timely.
