Job summary

The Care Center, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Contract clinician in Washington, PA to provide clinical assessments and outpatient psychotherapy, including individual, family, and group sessions.

The role requires developing comprehensive treatment plans and maintaining documentation in a timely manner within a compliance framework. You will participate in treatment team meetings, initiate appropriate intra- and inter-agency contacts, and adhere to DHS/DDAP regulations and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation, nursing or activities therapy or a graduate degree in a clinical field with 12 graduate‑level credits in mental health or counseling.
  • Willingness to obtain Mental Health Professional or Certified Addiction Counselor credential.
  • Must obtain required clearances (CHS, FBI) and pass background checks.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather vital information during interviews to make proper recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts assessment and diagnostic services to develop a comprehensive treatment plan and related treatment recommendations.
  • Develops and implements individualized treatment plans using individual, marital, group and family methodologies.
  • Participates in treatment team meetings with all levels of psychiatric and clinical staff, both individually and in group supervision.
  • Initiates intra- and inter-agency contacts to facilitate client care.
  • Prepares, maintains, and submits all case records, charts, reports, forms, and other required documentation in a professional and timely manner.
  • Adheres to policies, laws, regulations and ethics and confidentiality as outlined by federal and state laws and agency policies.
