Job summary

Diversified Human Services, Inc. seeks Direct Support Professionals to aid clients daily with Individual Support Plans and to lead recreational activities.

You will train new staff, maintain a safe residential site, and respond to emergencies while upholding confidentiality and policy standards. Eligible applicants may receive medical and dental benefits, a retirement plan with company match, and tuition discounts with partnering colleges.

Qualifications

• No HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to receive, understand, and communicate information effectively.
• Valid PA driver's license and safe driving record required.
• Must obtain state and FBI clearances; pre-employment drug testing.
• Ability to assist and transfer individuals and operate a 16-passenger van.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on instruction to implement Individual Support Plans.
• Conduct recreational and social activities with individuals.
• Mentor new Direct Support Professionals and assist with training.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper conditions of site and vehicle.
• Respond to emergencies and follow agency policies and procedures.
