Job summary

Mentor Community Services, part of Sevita, is hiring a Direct Support Professional / Caregiver in Verona, PA 15147. The role provides community-based support for individuals with IDD, with evenings Sun-Thurs 3pm-11pm, 40 hours weekly. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services or direct care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and shift priorities.
• Valid driver's license with 1+ years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Build meaningful relationships and promote community participation.
• Encourage goals related to budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Collaborate with supervisors to deliver person-centered supports.

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL / CAREGIVER - IDD Services

Location - Verona, PA 15147

Pay Rate - $16/hour

Evening shift available (Sun-Thurs 3pm-11pm)40hours

Valid Driver's License REQUIRED (unrestricted / 1+ years)
