Job summary

Mentor Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is hiring a Direct Support Professional/Caregiver for IDD Services in Whitehall, PA. The role pays $19/hour with a day/evening schedule and requires a valid driver's license.

You will support individuals with developmental disabilities, help with daily activities, and foster independence through personalized care, budgeting, nutrition, and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals and community participation.
• Provide compassionate, patient care and report changes to supervisors.

Location: Whitehall, PA

Pay Rate: $19/hour

Day/Evening shift (Sunday 7am-11pm; Mon 7am-3pm & Friday 3pm-11pm)32hours

Valid Driver's License REQUIRED (unrestricted / 1+ years)
