Job summary

Mentor Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, seeks a DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL / CAREGIVER for IDD services in Lower Burrell/New Kensington, PA. This part-time overnight role (Saturday 11pm-7am, 8 hours) requires a valid driver’s license and offers $16/hour pay.

You’ll help individuals with personal care, support daily living, and promote participation in community activities while building meaningful relationships and providing compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with 1+ years' driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Encourage participation in community activities and goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL / CAREGIVER - IDD Services
Location: Lower Burrell/New Kensington, PA
Pay Rate - $16/hour
Part Time Overnight shift Available (Saturday 11pm-7am)8hours
Valid Driver's License REQUIRED (unrestricted / 1+ years)
