Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in community-based settings.

You will assist with daily living activities, implement ISPs, and promote independence while providing compassionate care and documentation of client progress. A valid driver’s license and certifications in CPR/First Aid are expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 18 years of age or older.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred or required through approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
• Implement and adhere to Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) aligned with clients' goals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor client health per guidelines.
• Support clients with transportation to appointments and community activities.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans.
