Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help clients achieve personal goals, maintain independence, and participate in community life. You will assist with daily living activities, implement ISPs, provide companionship, and monitor health under guidelines.

The role offers flexible hours including full-time, part-time, and per diem, plus a comprehensive benefits package and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Required training certifications such as CPR and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
• Implement and adhere to Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) aligning with clients’ goals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor client health as per guidelines.
• Support clients with transportation to various appointments and community outings.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans as required.
