Job summary

Integrated Life Choices is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live meaningful, independent lives. You will work in homes and community settings, providing person-centered supports and documenting services.

You will assist with daily living, transportation, rights, and community participation, while maintaining safety and dignity. A reliable vehicle is often needed, with a focus on inclusion and empowerment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Background checks including Nebraska Child/Adult Protective Services Central Registry check.
• Criminal background check is required.
• Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community to promote independence.
• Maintain engaging, person-centered support and documentation for each shift.

As a DSP, you will be responsible for maintaining consistent engagement with the people you are supporting, whether they are at home or out in the community. You will be required to work independently, create safe environments, and provide accurate documentation for the support provided during every shift.
