Job summary

Independent-Case-Management-Inc is seeking a care-focused professional to assist customers with daily living activities, transport coordination, and community integration.

The role requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma, and at least 1 year of supervised health or community service experience, or 2 years with disabilities. A valid Arkansas driver’s license and auto insurance are required to ensure safe, reliable care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; some positions require additional education.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have at least 1 year of relevant supervised work experience with public health, human services or other community service agency OR two years of verifiable successful history working with persons with developmental disabilities.
• Valid AR Driver's License and valid Auto Insurance; HIPAA compliance is required.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment; follows all policies and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care such as bathing, feeding, dressing, grooming, medication assistance, and basic housekeeping.
• Help customers make and keep appointments and arrange transportation for errands and activities.
• Monitor customer safety and observe conditions; provide written daily updates of shifts’ activities.
• Observe and report changes in customer condition and the surrounding environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain quality care.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing quality care, direction, guidance, and help to customers with daily activities, such as bathing and bathroomfunctions, feeding, planning menus, dressing, grooming, taking medication and/or administering treatments, and housework.
• Help customers make and keep appointments, provide or arrange transportation to run errands and serve as a companion
• Help customer achieve agreed-upon goals to improve quality of life and integration into the community
• Provide written daily updates of each shift’s activities using an online platform
• Observe the customer’s condition and monitor the surroundings to ensure customer safety and success. This includes monitoring of equipment and materials
