Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Rocky Mount, NC for part-time 2nd shift. You will provide one-on-one support, assist with activities of daily living, meals, medications, and community activities in a supportive team setting.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, and a valid NC driver’s license. This position offers competitive pay and benefits, with opportunities for growth and a longevity bonus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor clients during dressing, bathing, toileting and self-care.
• Assist and monitor clients during meals to support family-style dining.
• Assist and monitor clients with housekeeping tasks (clothing care, cleaning, yard work).
• Assist and monitor clients in meal preparation and nutritional supplements.
• Assist and monitor clients with prescribed medications without error.
• Implement prescribed diet orders and adaptive equipment usage.
• Follow behavior programs, collect data, and follow safety procedures.
• Participate in treatment plans, record data, and support service goals.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and share client information with supervisory staff.
• Transport clients in company vehicles as directed.
• accompany clients on community outings.
• Assist during school and day program activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift Details: Part Time 1on1 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor clients while dressing, bathing, toileting, and in all other aspects of self-care.
• Assist and monitor clients during meals to ensure utilization of family style dining.
• Assist and monitor clients in all aspects of housekeeping responsibilities (Clothing care, house cleaning, and yard care).
• Assist and monitor clients in preparing meals and nutritional supplements.
• Assist and monitor clients in the administration of prescribed medication without error.
• Assist and monitor clients in the implementation of prescribed diet orders and utilization of adaptive equipment
• Implement and follow all established behavior programs, data collection, and established safety procedures.
• Assist and monitor clients in appropriate active treatment including training objective plans, recording data, and implementing service goals.
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and to communicate appropriate clients information as directed by supervisory staff.
• Transport and monitor clients on Company vehicles as directed.
• Assist and monitor clients during community outings.
• Assist and monitor clients during participation at school and day program activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
