Job summary

Hireology is looking for a Direct Support Professional to provide assistance and monitor clients in various self-care activities. This part-time position involves working 1-on-1 with clients during the 2nd shift, ensuring their needs are met in a caring environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor clients while dressing, bathing, and toileting.
• Ensure utilization of family style dining during meals.
• Monitor clients in housekeeping responsibilities.
• Assist clients in preparing meals and nutritional supplements.
• Monitor clients in administration of prescribed medication.
• Implement prescribed diet orders and use of adaptive equipment.
• Follow established behavior programs and safety procedures.
• Assist clients in active treatment and training objective plans.
• Participate in the interdisciplinary team and communicate information.
• Transport clients in Company vehicles as directed.
• Assist clients during community outings.
• Monitor clients during participation in day program activities.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Shift Details: Part Time 1on1 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor clients while dressing, bathing, toileting, and in all other aspects of self-care.
• Assist and monitor clients during meals to ensure utilization of family style dining.
• Assist and monitor clients in all aspects of housekeeping responsibilities (Clothing care, house cleaning, and yard care).
• Assist and monitor clients in preparing meals and nutritional supplements.
• Assist and monitor clients in the administration of prescribed medication without error.
• Assist and monitor clients in the implementation of prescribed diet orders and utilization of adaptive equipment
• Implement and follow all established behavior programs, data collection, and established safety procedures.
• Assist and monitor clients in appropriate active treatment including training objective plans, recording data, and implementing service goals.
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and to communicate appropriate clients information as directed by supervisory staff.
• Transport and monitor clients on Company vehicles as directed.
• Assist and monitor clients during community outings.
• Assist and monitor clients during participation at school and day program activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
