Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Companion / Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work one-on-one with individuals in homes and communities around Souderton. You will support daily routines, accompany clients to activities, and help them live independently with dignity.

This role offers starting pay of $18/hour with flexible PRN scheduling across various shifts and locations, plus mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and locations
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to activities
• Willingness to travel between clients within your assigned area

• Support daily routines like dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community outings
• Engage in hobbies, activities, and meaningful social interaction
• Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation
• Help individuals stay active, connected, and engaged in their communities

What We’re Looking For in Our Companions / Direct Support Professionals (DSP):

• 1+ year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and locations
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to activities
• Willingness to travel between clients within your assigned area

We currently have priority afternoon shifts available from 1pm-4pm Mondays and Fridays in the Souderton area.

Compensation & Schedule

• Starting at $18/hour
• Flexible PRN scheduling with a variety of shifts and locations
• Short commute times—we aim to place you within 30 minutes of home
