Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Supported Employment support to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will help clients with daily living, training, and community integration.

The role offers flexible hours across full-time, part-time, and per diem schedules, with mileage reimbursement and opportunities for training and career growth. Valid driver's license and CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred or to be completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, mobility).
• Implement ISP plans aligned with client goals.
• Provide companionship and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor health per guidelines.
• Support clients with job applications and training.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavior plans as required.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with developmental disabilities (strongly preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Required training certifications such as CPR and First Aid to be completed through approved providers.
