Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional trained in Supported Employment to help clients achieve personal goals, maintain independence, and participate fully in their communities.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, implementing ISPs, providing companionship, administering medications per guidelines, supporting job applications and training, and maintaining accurate care documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities (strongly preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid training completed through approved providers.

• Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
• Implement and adhere to ISPs aligning with clients’ goals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, and encourage social inclusion.
