Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey seeks a Direct Support Professional to help clients achieve independence and participate in their communities. You will assist with daily living, health monitoring, transportation, and companionship under ISP plans.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid, and preferably experience with developmental disabilities. We offer flexible hours (FT/PT/per diem) with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid training to be completed through approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, mobility).
• Implement and follow ISP goals for clients.
• Provide companionship and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor health per guidelines.
• Support transportation to appointments and community activities.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral plans.

• Administer medication and monitor client health as per guidelines.
• Support clients with transportation to various appointments and community outings.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans as required.
