Job summary

Mentor Community Services, part of the Sevita family, hires Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate, person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in New Eagle, PA. This full-time evening role supports daily living, behavioral needs, and community participation.

You will work a schedule including Tue/Wed evenings and Thu-Sat day shifts, earning $16.00 per hour with on-demand pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time management skills.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support individuals with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Help participants participate in community activities and social integration.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with participants and provide compassionate care.

Direct Support Professional - IDD Services

Location: New Eagle, PA, 15067

Shift: FT Evening (Tues/Wed 3pm-11pm and 7am-3pm Thurs-Sat) 40

Pay Rate: $16.00/hour

On-Demand Pay Available

Valid, unrestricted license (1+ years driving experience required)
