Job summary

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in homes and communities. You will help clients reach goals, build skills, and enjoy meaningful activities while delivering compassionate daily living support.

Role requires at least 1 year of DSP experience, a valid driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. CPR/First Aid training is preferred and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum 1 year related DSP experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings.
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid training prior to your first shift.
• Level 1 Med Aide Certification preferred.
• Availability for at least one weekend per month.
