Job summary
Resources for Human Development is seeking a Direct Support Professional in the Gibsonia/Verona area. The role is full-time with hourly pay ranging from $18.25 to $20.25, plus DailyPay availability and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Able to complete onboarding requirements including background and driving checks.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals in daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- Foster positive relationships while promoting independence and personal choice.
- Assist individuals in developing life skills and participating in social, recreational, and community activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of services and supports.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will:
- Support individuals in daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- Foster positive and respectful relationships while promoting independence, self-determination, and personal choice.

- High School Diploma or GED
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to successfully complete all onboarding requirements, including criminal background and driver's record checks
- Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or a related field
- Additional education in human services, psychology, social work, nursing, education, or a related field

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed
