Resources for Human Development (RHD) is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in a full-time capacity. The role focuses on supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independent, connected lives in home and community settings.

• High School Diploma or GED or higher is required.
• Ability to pass all required background screenings, including FBI clearance when applicable.
• Valid driver's license required; ability to provide proof of education.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support in accordance with each individual's ISP.
• Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and desired outcomes.
• Support activities of daily living including meal prep, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community events as needed.
• Assist individuals in accessing community resources and supports.
• Administer or assist with medications as required.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely; collaborate with staff.

What You'll Do

• Provide supervision and support in accordance with each individual's Person-Centered Individual Support Plan (ISP)
• Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and desired outcomes
• Support activities of daily living, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household tasks
• Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community events as needed
• Assist individuals in accessing community resources and supports
• Administer or assist with medications as required
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with program and clinical staff to ensure quality services
• Promote healthy, safe, and socially appropriate behaviors
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required
