Job summary

Kahak Health Services is a service provider supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role focuses on assisting with daily living activities, ensuring safety, transport to activities, and basic hygiene support to help individuals achieve independence.

Qualified candidates will have at least one year in a medical or related field, reliable transportation, and current CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in medical or related field.
• Must have reliable car and a current driver's license.
• Current work authorization and auto insurance are required.
• CPR & First Aid certification.
• Current physical exam and tuberculosis test with negative result.
• Social Security Card and Resume required.
• Background check (FBI) and Central Registry check will be required if hired.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and monitor safety.
• Transport individuals to activities and ensure transportation safety.
• Assist with basic hygiene and personal care.
• Behavior management (training provided).
• Submit daily progress notes.
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment for the individual and employee.
• Perform simple nursing care, first aid, and related tasks.

Requirements
