Job summary

KAHAK PA INC is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals with intellectual disabilities. You will help with daily living activities, promote independence, and support life skills in a supportive team environment.

You will assist with ADLs, accompany to appointments, teach budgeting and social skills, document ISP outcomes, and report changes to supervisors. CPR/First Aid, US work authorization, and 1 year healthcare experience are required.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Background check clearance required.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene.
• Support individuals in accessing community activities and recreation.
• Accompany individuals to appointments, shopping, or social outings as needed.
• Encourage skill-building for community engagement (money management, transportation, social interaction).
• Implement and document individualized support plans and ISP outcomes.
